Contract with Prophecy Productions extended
From Prophecy newsletter:
With pleasure we announce that Tenhi, one of the first and most productive Prophecy bands, extended their contract with Prophecy for two further albums. Since the “Hallavedet” single CD (1998), Tenhi released five studio albums and the anniversary compilation “Folk Aesthetic 1996-2006” via Prophecy. The cooperation has so far been topped off by the comprehensive vinyl box set “The Collected Works”, which was released in December 2011 and comprises Tenhi’s complete body of work.
Tyko Saarikko (Tenhi) on the contract extension: “We are happy and proud that we will continue on the path we started with Prophecy Productions fifteen years ago. The accomplished albums have been based on our artistic freedom and Prophecy’s patience to let us choose our own pace of creating music. We feel confident that by extending the collaboration with Prophecy our expression has the opportunity to refine and even grow into new lengths.”
so you guys are up for two more albums on prophecy! saivo is a great album indeed…I bougth de book with the two cd set…if you plan on doing some collectors book i’ll gladly buy it…happy to hear from you guys…your my favourite band since 1998!!! keep on that great art of yours for us to enjoy. Thanks
im not sure if labels are usualy as cruel as i think, in terms of producing anything that will sell just to sell fast. but you guys seem confortable with prophecy and that is clearly expressed in every album you release.
also i’d like to thankyou guys for taking the time to read your fans here. we’re always few adding comments here, but quantity doesn’t pass for quality, and belive me when somebody says tenhi we all know we’re talking about quality.
thankyou guys
Congratulation on your contract! You deserve it!
Congrats, I hope the best for Tenhi, you guys make such amazing music!
Hi guys, are there any news about you and your music?
After a album like Saivo that took so many application and maniacal care from you, i wonder what’s your ideas for the future.I loved maaaet so much and i missed the maaaet rhythmics on saivo, the tribal and nordic percussions that in 2006 literally dig in my spirit. But saivo is a calm place so it has to be like you described with your music, with all is liquidness :)
You are my favourite band, and i hope not to wait years for your next masterpiece :)
Thanks for your music, always looking for some good news from you
congratulation, work on your new album PLZ !
